This type of inspection is required if you need to sell your owner built home/renovation/extension. Home Indemnity Insurance must be obtained should the sale of your property occur within 7 years of obtaining the building license.

An Owner-Builder, Home Indemnity Insurance report investigates the overall aspects of the construction of the building, with the report following the desired format of your selected Insurer.

Home Indemnity Insurance cover will only be given to property that is structurally sound. Any structural faults or maintenance defects identified in the report can be repaired and re-inspected prior to the report being submitted to the Insurer, thus ensuring the report is accepted and processed quickly by the Insurer.
